Kennedy Center displays lights in Ukrainian colors and plans to perform its anthem

The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., displayed blue and yellow outdoor lights to show “solidarity with the people of Ukraine.”

This weekend, the Washington National Opera added the Ukrainian national anthem to its Written In Stone concert repertoire, with its opening night on Saturday.

Outside the center’s REACH Skylight Pavilion is a “video installation” of the flag this week. Next weekend, it plans to host a free concert called Ukraine Tribute.
