Trump transformed into classic Marvel villain in ‘Spider-Gwen’

Marvel debuted an amorphous, villainous version of Donald Trump in “Spider-Gwen Annual #1.”

The Marvel villain M.O.D.O.K (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing) — a giant head with arms, legs and a thirst for destruction — was reimagined in the Spider-Gwen universe as the presumptive GOP nominee.

In his inaugural panel, M.O.D.A.A.K (Mental Organism Designed as America’s King), the Trump-faced being says, “If America will not act, M.O.O.D.A.A.K must!”

The storyline involves Captain America — Samantha Wilson, not Steve Rogers — going up against various redesigned villains, including M.O.D.A.A.K and a version of Baron Blood who strongly resembles the late pop star Prince.

All this craziness takes place in an alternate Spider-Man universe where Gwen Stacey — girlfriend of Peter Parker, the first and most well-known Spider-Man — was bitten by a radioactive spider instead and thus gained its powers.

This isn’t the first time the comic book industry has appropriated Trump’s image. At New York Comic Con in October, io9 went to the convention’s Artist’s Alley and asked the artists in attendance to name their favorite supervillain and then draw him or her as Trump. The results are incredible.
