UK holding EU parliament elections as Brexit stalls

Published

British Prime Minister Theresa May announced plans Friday to hold elections to send representatives to the European Parliament, amid delayed departure of the United Kingdom from the European Union due to a series of failed Brexit votes.

She said if the extension was granted that Britain would hold a vote in May to elect members to the European Parliament, which counts as its membership countries from across the continent.
