Tulsi Gabbard rails against ‘establishment elite’

There is a bigger problem in politics than partisanship — that’s according to former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.

The Hawaii Democrat, who ran for president in 2020, discussed what she called the “establishment elite” and the legacy media’s support of it on Friday. Gabbard has long been opposed to authoritarianism.

“This is a bigger problem than Democrats or Republicans,” Gabbard said. “This is about the establishment elite trying to hold on to their power and continue to increase it, and the mainstream media is a powerful arm of that establishment elite.”

Gabbard, noting that she didn’t watch President Joe Biden’s town hall in full on Thursday, said his administration isn’t making any “serious” attempts at compassionate leadership.

“It comes down to this,” she said on Fox News. “You’re either with them, agreeing with them, supporting them, carrying the water for them, or you’re not. You’re either part of their team, or you’re not.”

The elite will “censor,” “target,” and “demonize” those who they see as a “threat to their power,” Gabbard said.
