C-SPAN will broadcast travel ban case at 9th Circuit next month

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals granted C-SPAN the right to broadcast arguments in next month’s travel ban headed before the federal appellate court.

C-SPAN will also serve as the pool for other media broadcasters.

The high level of interest in the travel ban litigation hurtling toward the Supreme Court likely means that the 9th Circuit case will attract many eyeballs. A previous panel hearing focusing on President Trump’s travel ban reportedly drew more than 136,000 people listening to audio streams live on YouTube, and cable television networks also broadcast the audio live on air.

Arguments in Hawaii v. Trump are scheduled to go before the 9th Circuit on May 15.
