A Virgina woman is in critical condition after she made an illegal turn and was struck by a dump truck on Route 32 in Howard County.
Elizabeth A. Marsh, 62, of Stephenson, Va., was driving her Chevrolet Prizm at 12:09 p.m. Thursday on northbound Route 32 when she attempted to turn left at the exit ramp from Route 70, an illegal maneuver, said Howard police.
A southbound dump truck driven by Michael B. Hill, 31, of Columbia, struck Marsh?s car. He was not injured.
Marsh is being treated at University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore City, police said.
