Fauci and Jim Jordan spar over limiting protests due to coronavirus

Rep. Jim Jordan pressed Dr. Anthony Fauci on whether he would recommend that the government “limit” protests after the doctor acknowledged large gatherings contribute to the spread of the virus.

“I don’t think that’s relevant,” Fauci, the leading infectious disease expert in the nation, responded to the question of limiting protests. “I’m not in a position to determine what the government can do in a forceful way.”
