The Trump campaign is hoping to challenge the daytime women’s talk show The View with a conservative view on weekly news.
Lara Trump, the president’s daughter-in-law, previewed the program on Tuesday’s program of Team Trump Online, an online show used by the campaign to connect with internet users.
The show plans to stream every Wednesday at 8 p.m. and features a panel of conservative hosts with the Trump campaign, including Lara Trump, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Mercedes Schlapp, and Katrina Pierson.
“TONIGHT: Join ‘The Right View’ featuring @LaraLeaTrump, @kimguilfoyle, @mercedesschlapp, and @KatrinaPierson at 8:00PM ET!” the campaign tweeted on Wednesday.

Schlapp, Trump 2020 senior adviser for strategic communications, told Just the News that the program is intended to counter the “fake news” narrative espoused on the ABC program.
“For too long, women on ABC’s The View have believed they represent all women’s views,” Schlapp said. “They project the fake news’ narrative to viewers across the country and are obsessed with their blatant hatred of President Trump.”
“Our new series – The Right View – will make talk shows great again by breaking through the mainstream media’s deception and providing the facts about President Trump’s clear record of accomplishment,” she added.
At the start of the program this Wednesday, brief clips showed ABC talk show personalities Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Meghan McCain, and Sunny Hostin covered with the slogan “Make Talk Shows Great Again!”
