Trump Campaign Manager Arrested for Grabbing Reporter, Appears to Tweet While in Police Custody

On Tuesday, reports surfaced that Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was arrested for grabbing Michelle Fields.

Palm Beach Post reports:

Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump campaign manager, was charged this morning with misdemeanor battery after allegations of forcefully grabbing a reporter at a Jupiter news conference, town police confirmed this morning. … Lewandowski turned himself in to Jupiter police just after 8 a.m., accoriding to a police report.

About an hour after he reportedly turned himself in, he tweeted this:

Soon after the incident a few weeks ago, Lewandowski called Fields “delusional” and said he “never touched” her.

However, a police video shows a different story.



One can clearly see Lewandowski grabbing Fields.

The Trump campaign says Lewandowski is innocent.
