Trump asks inaugural ball crowd: ‘Should I keep the Twitter going?’

President Trump polled the thousands of guests in attendance at the Freedom Ball on Friday night, asking them if he should keep his personal Twitter account since he is expected to transfer to using the POTUS account.

“Should I keep the Twitter going or not? Keep it going? I think so. I think so,” Trump asked the estimated 25,000 attendees, who erupted in cheers. “You know, the enemies keep saying ‘oh, that’s terrible,’ but it’s a way of bypassing dishonest media.”

Trump has been known to publicly sound out his supporters on decisions. In December, after being nominated “Person of the Year” by Time Magazine, he repeatedly asked crowds at his “thank you” rallies, if the title should be changed back to “Man of the Year” instead.

His overnight tweets and attacks on companies have been met with criticism by some who say it’s unprofessional for the person elected to the highest office in the land.
