Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign unveiled two Spanish-language ads attacking Donald Trump on Wednesday.
One ad, titled “País Primero” meaning “Country First,” spotlighted Carlos Gutierrez’s support for Clinton. Gutierrez is a Republican who served as commerce secretary under President George W. Bush, but plans to vote for Clinton this fall. In the ad, Gutierrez described himself as “an American first” and labeled Trump as dangerous.
The other ad, titled “Verdadera Fuerza” meaning “Real Strength,” contrasts Trump’s rhetoric about Mexican immigration with Clinton’s record.
The two new 30-second spots released on Wednesday will air in the battleground states of Florida and Nevada, which could prove key in the presidential election and the balance of power in the U.S. Senate.
