Pentagon conducting 30-day review of diversity chief accused of anti-white posts

Pentagon officials are reportedly investigating the department’s diversity chief who posted controversial statements on social media last month that have been criticized as being anti-white. The Pentagon plans to make a final decision about the incident within a month.

The investigation began Sept. 19 and is expected to last 30 days before being referred to Undersecretary of Personnel and Readiness Gil Cisneros for a final decision, the agency told Fox News Digitial. Kelisa Wing, the diversity, equity, and inclusion chief of the department’s Education Activity, is still employed by the department for now.

DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE EQUITY CHIEF HAS MADE SEVERAL ANTI-WHITE SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

“I am exhausted by 99% of the white men in education and 95% of the white women. Where can I get a break from white nonsense for a while,” Wing wrote in one post, according to the report.

The Education Activity oversees educational programs for children in pre-K through grade 12. Wing has dubbed herself a “woke administrator” and previously lamented on social media that she was “exhausted with these white folx.”

Kelisa Wing, the Department of Defense’s chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer, has written a series of posts complaining about white people on social media.

“This lady actually had the CAUdacity to say that black people can be racist too … I had to stop the session and give Karen the BUSINESS … We are not the majority, we don’t have power,” Wing wrote in another post.

Wing appears to have deactivated her Twitter since facing uproar over her tweets last month. In addition to her tweets, she has written or co-written children’s books that touch on race, including What is White Privilege? and What is Anti-Racism?

Over a dozen House Republicans have asked Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to investigate her behavior as a result of the incident. The Department of Defense has previously confirmed that the department was conducting a review.
