Donald Trump Jr. offered to send a new MAGA hat signed by President Trump to the teenager who was assaulted at a Texas Whataburger for wearing the trademark hat.
The president’s eldest son asked Twitter users on Thursday night to help track down 16-year-old Hunter Richard after news of his altercation with a patron at Whataburger went viral. According to Richard, his hat was violently ripped off, and a drink was thrown in his face because of his political leanings.

Earlier on Thursday, Trump Jr. called the attack “disgusting” and a “disgrace” and questioned whether the backlash would be different if the victim was a Democrat.

The Tuesday incident is currently under investigation by Texas police.
