B.J. Novak is the latest to leave ‘The Office’

Who will even be employed at Dunder-Mifflin come September?

B.J. Novak, who plays Ryan on “The Office,” will no longer be a regular on the NBC comedy, according to TV Guide. Novak, whose character will still make apperances throughout the season, could still writer and direct episodes next seaosn as well. Novak is one in a line of “Office”-mates who have departed the show. Mindy Kaling got her own show on Fox, James Spader departed and Paul Lieberstein (aka Toby) left to focus on the future Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) spinoff.

So who will be back? Well, Ed Helms, Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski, along with a variety of others. “The Office” comes back Sept. 20.
