CNN host Brooke Baldwin asked Jim Starlin, the creator of the Marvel Comics supervillain Thanos, whether it was possible for him to get President Trump’s campaign to “take down” a meme featuring the character.
“No, the First Amendment protects it under satire, if nothing else,” Starlin said on the Friday segment. “I feel that the only thing I can do is sit there and speak out about it because, as an artist, my creations — I’d like them to be used for something that has something to do with what’s going on in me, rather than somebody else to exploit.”
Starlin, 70, said earlier in the week that he felt “violated” because of a Trump ad that portrayed the president as the supervillain. In the Marvel Universe, Thanos has unmatched powers, and at one point, kills half of humanity.
House Democrats can push their sham impeachment all they want.

CNN host Don Lemon went after the Trump campaign for the meme, asking, “What, are we in junior high school?” “What the hell? What is this?” Lemon said he believed the ad was meant to distract Democrats from impeachment.
