“Full Frontal” host Samantha Bee hosted “Not the White House Correspondent’s Dinner” at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., on Saturday. The event was a spoof of the actual dinner that took place later that evening.
The event took shots at President Trump and other major players in today’s government and media.
Comedian and actor Will Ferrell stole the show with his impersonations of former President George W. Bush that he performed on “Saturday Night Live” for many years. Ferrell received a standing ovation as he walked out onto the stage parodying Bush.
Ferrell poked fun at the former president’s painting hobby, telling the crowd he is a “better painter than he was president,” he said while holding up a coloring book-style painting of Trump.

“For a long time I was considered the worst president of all time,” Ferrell muttered in Bush’s token Texas accent. “That has changed, and it only took 100 days.”
Ferrell’s performance was met with roaring laughs from the audience and cast.
