Supervisor Linda Smyth, D-Providence, on Monday told The Washington Examiner that the comprehensive plan for Tysons Corner was “by and large” ready for approval.
Smyth, whose district encompasses Tysons, said she and other county officials would be making “a few little tweaks,” but said the planning commission hadperformed most of the heavy lifting.
“They did the work for us. We have a good plan that there’s no use unraveling,” she said.
Smyth also said most of the feedback she had received from residents and business owners had been positive.
“People still have some concerns about traffic issues and playing fields, but that’s a long way from where we started,” she said.
