Police in Prince George’s County have arrested a 39-year-old man for the armed robbery of a Wachovia Bank.
Jamalda Durrell Redish, a District Heights, Md. resident, was charged on Saturday for his alleged role in the June 13 robbery of the bank in the 5800 block of Silver Hill Road.
Late that afternoon, a man believed to be Redish entered the bank, implied he had a handgun, and demanded money from the tellers. The frightened bank employees complied, and the man fled the bank with the money on foot; a police canvass of the area was unsuccessful.
