Trump defends his policy record against charges he’s moving too slow

President Trump hit back at a New York Times story accusing him of failing to follow through on campaign promises Sunday morning by pointing to executive actions he took on trade and pipeline measures.

“The Failing @nytimes, in a story by Peter Baker, should have mentioned the rapid terminations by me of TPP & The Paris Accord & the fast approvals of The Keystone XL & Dakota Access pipelines. Also, look at the recent EPA cancelations & our great new Supreme Court Justice!” Trump tweeted.

The story detailed Trump’s inability to get rid of the Iran nuclear deal or Obamacare during his time in office, despite his promises to do both immediately upon being sworn in.

The story accused Trump of taking mostly half-measures on his major promises instead of going all the way to do what he said he would do on the campaign trail.
