Vice President Mike Pence will campaign for Republican gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie on Saturday.
The vice president will appear alongside Gillespie at a rally in Abingdon, Va, the Republican Governors Association announced Monday.
Gillespie is facing off against Democratic Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam in the Nov. 7 election.
President Trump announced his support for Gillespie on Thursday, tweeting criticism of Northam and his stance on immigration.
