Has anyone actually seen the two of them in the same room together? Palin on Fey’s portrayal of her:
On Sunday, a campaign adviser confirmed that Ms. Palin had, indeed, watched the “Saturday Night Live” skit from her screen at the front of the plane. “She thought it was quite funny,” the adviser said in an email response to inquiries, “especially because the governor has dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween.”
How is it that the entire MSM army of investigative reporters hasn’t turned up photographic evidence of this truly relevant cultural/political meta-moment? The SNL opening skit, featuring Fey as Palin and Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton in a bi-partisan address about sexism in the presidential campaign, is one of about three SNL skits in three years that’s made me laugh out loud. Fey’s impression is better, but Poehler’s lines are great, and the shots are mostly good-humored instead of cheap. Video, here.
