This benefit concert took place at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland. It sold out with 10,000 attendees packed inside, altogether raising over 6 million zlotys, which amounts to over $1.4 million.
As a result, the recipients of the donations, Polska Akcja Humanitarna (Polish Humanitarian Action) will use the funds toward Ukranian refugees entering the country. It began a fund on Feb. 24, the day that Russia invaded Ukraine. Just last week, the charity acquired enough soap, detergent, pads, and blankets for approximately 6,300 families.
