Minnie Mouse will be ditching her signature red polka-dot dress at Disneyland Paris for a dark blue polka-dot pantsuit designed by Stella McCartney in honor of the park’s 30th anniversary.
The park confirmed the fresh look in a tweet Tuesday that featured a glimpse of the new wardrobe that will debut on March 6 at a celebration for Women’s History Month.
“Stella McCartney has designed Minnie Mouse’s very first pantsuit, and it’s gorgeous,” the account tweeted.

McCartney said she was delighted to collaborate with Disney on Minnie’s new look because the mouse holds a special spot in her heart.

“What I love about Minnie is the fact that she embodies happiness, self-expression, authenticity, and that she inspires people of all ages around the world,” McCartney told the Disney fan club D23. “This new take on her signature polka dots makes Minnie Mouse a symbol of progress for a new generation. … I can’t wait for you to see this new look at Walt Disney Studios Park.”
The yearlong celebration will also feature new shows, food, parades, and an art installation called “Gardens of Wonder,” which will have 30 sculptures. Minnie will also join other Disney characters in outfits created for the anniversary when she’s not in her new pantsuit.
“Disneyland Paris has over the years created unforgettable memories that last a lifetime,” the resort said in a statement obtained by the New York Post. “The resort is known for bringing unique ideas to life, exploring new paths, and continuously reinventing itself.”
