Rob Reiner: Trump is a ‘sociopath’ with ‘no feeling’ about people suffering or dying

Hollywood actor and director Rob Reiner accused President Trump of being a “sociopath” and claimed the president has “no feeling” about people who are suffering and dying from the coronavirus.

“The President is a sociopath,” Reiner tweeted Wednesday. “He uses these ridiculous press briefings as a campaign tool, managing the death toll like poll numbers. Trying to convince US that 200,000 deaths is a victory. Monstrous.”

The All in the Family actor was doubling down on a coronavirus comment he made just a day earlier stating that the president has a mental illness that’s “killing people.”

Both tweets were liked and retweeted tens of thousands of times.

Reiner has been a longtime critic of the president, saying in 2017 that Trump is “out of his f—ing mind,” and claimed earlier this month that the Earth will soon be uninhabitable if a Democrat doesn’t win in 2020.

Reiner joins other Hollywood celebrities including Judd Apatow, Cher, John Cusack, along with over a dozen others who have either laid responsibility for fatalities at Trump’s feet or called for his removal in order to save lives.

The coronavirus has killed over 4,600 people in the United States and infected more than 205,000.

Trump warned Tuesday of a “very painful two weeks” ahead for the U.S. but added there will soon be “real light at the end of the tunnel.”
