Justice to release scrubbed transcripts of Orlando shooter calls

The Department of Justice on Monday will release partial transcripts of the calls that Omar Mateen held with negotiators during his shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., but those transcripts will be scrubbed to exclude his pledges to the Islamic State.

On ABC News Sunday, Attorney General Loretta Lynch said officials want to let people hear what happened, but don’t want to amplify Mateen’s pledges to the terrorist group any more.
