Many major news outlets ignored a bombshell New York Times report that presidential envoy for climate John Kerry shared intelligence with Iran about covert Israeli military operations.
ABC, CBS, NBC, and 24-hour news network MSNBC dedicated zero coverage on their morning and evening news programs to the Sunday New York Times report, according to Fox News.

CNN addressed the report just twice on Tuesday, once in the morning and briefly during Jake Tapper’s interview with Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Neither CNN nor MSNBC mentioned the controversy during their prime-time shows.
The report cited leaked audiotape of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif claiming that Kerry, while he was secretary of state under former President Barack Obama, informed him that Israel had attacked Iranian interests in Syria roughly 200 times.
“Former Secretary of State John Kerry informed him that Israel had attacked Iranian interests in Syria at least 200 times, to his astonishment,” the report stated.
Kerry has vehemently denied the conversation took place.

“I can tell you that this story and these allegations are unequivocally false,” the former presidential candidate posted on Twitter. “This never happened – either when I was Secretary of State or since.”

The denial hasn’t prevented prominent Republicans, including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, from criticizing Kerry.
Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan went a step further and called for Kerry to resign or be removed from his position of presidential envoy for climate if the allegations are true.
“.@NYTimes & others are reporting John Kerry disclosed covert Israeli operations to Iran, the largest state sponsor of terror with the blood of thousands of US soldiers on its hands,” Sullivan tweeted. “If this is true, it’s traitorous and Kerry needs to go.”
