Bernie Sanders supporters loudly booed Hillary Clinton’s name when he uttered it during his post-election rally Tuesday night.
Sanders said he “had a very gracious call from Secretary Clinton and congratulated her on her victories tonight,” cueing a raucous response from the Santa Monica, Calif., crowd.
While Sanders initially raised his hands to pacify the crowd, the booing continued for several moments.
Clinton officially secured enough delegates to clinch the Democratic presidential nomination earlier Tuesday, though Sanders was able to cling to several wins. Despite his heavy losses, he vowed to fight on to the Democratic convention in July.
