Metro has never looked so delicious.
The blog Greater Greater Washington is highlighting the Metro-centric winners of a cupcake decorating contest sponsored by Hello Cupcake.
The featured spider map confection didn’t win the top prize but earned “best use of fondant.” Others apparently also tapped into the iconic Washington image to show their cupcake chops.
But ironically, anyone trying to eat said cupcakes on the transit system would get a fine, along with that sugar buzz, as eating and drinking are banned.
Metro’s board of directors considered reversing the policy last spring to help raise revenue but punted on the idea.
Oh, well, Goodbye Cupcake.
