Am I the only one who is feeling that Messrs Cameron, Sarkozy and Nobel winner Obama just got majorly punked by the Arab League? The group endorsed military action in Libya by the West, then happily changed jerseys just when one by one the photos of civilian deaths and bombings started coming in through Al Jazeera.
Nothing to be shocked or surprised about. I predited that this would happen (see argument number 3) two days before the intervention started.
Here’s some more news…apparently Egypt, where the “Democratic revolt” got everyone’s support, leading among them being Hillary Clinton…is not so democratic at all…
And the worst of them all…right at America’s backyard…
And what about Libya? Here is something for the uninitiated…a brilliant must read analysis of the history of Libya and the future of this War. Apparently Libyan rebels might be supported by Iran, or Al Qaeda, again something which I said earlier…so that means American Tomahawks, which cost approximately $570,000 each…will be on the sides of Iran. But then again, the Obama administration made it a point to be on the sides of Iran…
Anyways, I still say I can’t justify this “selective” bout of conscience, this intervention…or war as it can be safely said now, cause it is going to be a l-o-n-g night…but I guess being from one of the countries which abstained…I can’t say much. No country in the Security Council said no…so now they can’t take the moral high ground either…
It could have been different…arming the rebels, giving them food, medicine, and water…and letting them carve out their own destiny…
But the World got sucked in another war…yet again…and somehow this time it is not gonna be good…we can only see the propaganda taking a more ominous tone.
