A pastor in Ukraine is spreading a message of faith as well as training Ukrainian forces against Russia.
In a Tuesday morning interview, Ukrainian pastor Oleg Magdych said, “Every day, we start with a prayer, and every evening, we close the day with the prayer, and most of them are praying for their families, praying for God to give them strength at the right moment to do the right things.”
“We’re brave. We’re going to win, and we already won. Even if we’re going to die, we’ll already have this victory,” he told Fox & Friends’s Ainsley Earhardt.

He told the host that most of the men in Ukraine are prepared to die, adding, “Most of them said goodbye to their families.”
While spreading the power of prayer, Magdych is also training forces. “But in the last seven days, we’ve been training them in order to stay alive and to be useful at the battleground,” he said.
“We’re tired of holding back because they’re anxious to fight. They’re anxious to protect their country.”
“We need you to speak up for us,” he added, likening Ukraine’s battle to the story of David and Goliath.
A poll published last week revealed that 82% of Ukrainians are confident in its ability to hold off Russia’s invasion. Most of them cited their military, Ukrainian cohesion, and Western support as main contributors to eventual success.
