Line forming to speak out on Tysons Plan

Nearly 60 Fairfax residents, business owners, local officials and organization leaders have signed up to speak about the Tysons Corner redevelopment at the Fairfax Board of Supervisors Tuesday meeting.

The county planning commission approved the Tysons Corner Comprehensive Plan three weeks ago.

Walter Alcorn, chairman of the Tysons Corner Planning Committee, is scheduled to kick off the hearing. Subsequent speakers will be given 3 minutes each to voice their opinions.

The Board of Supervisors could hold a final vote to approve the plan after the hearing.
