Commander: Cuts could undermine Pacific strategy

WASHINGTON (AP) — Budget cuts are starting to affect U.S. military activities in the Asia-Pacific and threaten to undermine Washington’s strategy to rebalance its forces in the region, the U.S. Pacific commander said Tuesday.
