It didn’t take Kelsey Grammer long to rebound after his separation from wife Camille. The former “Frasier” star is “deeply in love” with a British blonde named Kate, sources told the New York Post. They’ve been spotted strolling hand-in-hand through NYC, where he’s now appearing on Broadway — and sources observed what looks like a baby bump.
“He’s pushing for a quickie divorce because things are moving quickly with his new girlfriend,” an insider said. “There is speculation that she is pregnant, but he wants to finalize the divorce before making any announcement.” (Classy.)
After 13 years of marriage, the actor filed for divorce from wife Camille Donatacci a little more than a month ago. He’s asked the court not to award her spousal support or any share of his “Frasier” earnings. (Again, we say, classy.)
A rep said of the new romance: “They are very happy together.” As for whether they’re expecting? “Kelsey did not discuss it with me.”
Well, when a publicist doesn’t outright deny a pregnancy, draw your own conclusions.
Fantasia in Crisis
The same day her camp came out swinging against allegations she broke up a marriage, news broke that Fantasia Barrino was rushed to the hospital reportedly for an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid.
On Tuesday, after a North Carolina woman filed divorce papers charging that the “American Idol” winner had a “covert adulterous affair” with her husband — and even taped their intimate activities — her manager released a statement saying, “Fantasia is certain that she is not responsible for the deterioration of [the couple’s] marriage.”
The woman, Paula Cook, claims Fantasia began a romantic relationship with her husband, Antwaun Cook, last August, which led to the demise of their five-year marriage.
Later that day, the singer’s rep confirmed TMZ reports that Fantasia was rushed to a North Carolina hospital Monday night for an overdose of medication. As of press time, it was not known whether the OD was intentional or accidental, but it was not life-threatening. We’ll keep you posted on her condition.
Cruising Couple
The romance between Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough seems to be progressing quite nicely. The “American Idol” host and the “Dancing With the Stars” hoofer were spotted enjoying a couple’s weekend in Los Angeles. On Sunday morning, they tooled around town in his convertible.
“It was warm and beautiful outside and the couple cruised with the top down on the car,” an onlooker told People magazine.
If this somehow leads to an “Idol”-“DWTS” crossover episode, we’re all for it!
Kim: Juggling Jocks?
Though she seems happy with NFL beau Miles Austin, Kim Kardashian recently stepped out with yet another hunky athlete, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The socialite and the soccer stud had been spotted together before she started dating the Dallas Cowboys player, and they spent some quality time together Aug. 3 when they were seen at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Kim, who previously dated New Orleans Saints star Reggie Bush, “is boy-crazy and always looking for the next man — someone with more fame and money than her current guy,” a so-called friend told In Touch magazine.
