After two summits between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, the reclusive Asian nation is considering halting nuclear talks with the U.S.
North Korea’s Deputy Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui told reporters Friday said the nation was deeply disappointed by the failure of the two sides to reach any agreements at the recent Hanoi, Vietnam summit, according to reports.
She said personal relations between the Trump and Un were “still good and the chemistry is mysteriously wonderful.”

But she also blasted American Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and national security adviser John Bolton, for what she called an aggressive approach to North Korean nuclear disarmament talks. The pair had created an “atmosphere of hostility and mistrust” that thwarted the top leaders’ negotiations in Hanoi last month, Hui said.
Trump has faced criticism at home for his North Korean efforts, with congressional Democrats, and some Republicans, questioning the merits of continued negotiations when North Korea has to date refused to yield on any substantive concerns like a weapons freeze or inspections.
