What’s the delay with Kim’s divorce?

In all the drama of is she dating Kanye West, or is she adopting a baby girl she’ll name Kueen or Koco or Kandy, have we forgotten that Kim Kardashian is still married?

In negotiations that have taken longer than their marriage, have Kim and Kris Humphries finally agreed on something? Well, sort of.

It seems the pair have finally decided on an annulment instead of a divorce (which is what Kris wanted all along), but there’s only one more thing standing in the way of the two finally being free of each other.

Fraud.

To move forward with an annulment, each party wants the other to admit to fraud. But who’s going to cave first?

TMZ reports that Kim wants Kris to admit he defrauded her by promising to live with her in California (remember, he wanted her to move to his home state of Minnesota). And Kris just wants her to admit that she never had any intention of making a real go at marriage.

But the gossip site claims that Kim is willing to spend anything to win this case so she doesn’t have to be the one to admit fraud — so it looks like a stalemate for now. But money talks, so our bet is on Kim. Sorry, Kris, we know you’ve been through a lot lately.

Newly single Eva: ‘I feel very excited about my life’

Eva Longoria is opening up about her new life as a single gal.

The “Desperate Housewives” beauty, who recently split from younger man Eduardo Cruz, tells People magazine, “I feel very excited about my life and I’m excited about things to come.”

The actress, who may appear unlucky in love since her high-profile divorce from Spurs point guard Tony Parker, is gearing up to spend some time with one of the most well-known men around.

Eva will be in D.C. this week to see President Obama and discuss education, immigration and the economy. “There are so many things on the horizon,” she said.

Eva, who co-chairs the president’s re-election campaign, says she still gets a little nervous around the commander-in-chief. “It’s the president of the United States,” she told People.  “You should always get nervous.”

Russell set to fight felony charge in iPhone incident

Russell Brand snatched a photographer’s iPhone last week and threw it through a window. Then, the funnyman was arrested in Louisiana on a felony charge. Now, he’s out on $5,000 bond.

No big deal, right? Well, according to TMZ, it looks like Russell could face up to two years in prison if he’s convicted — although stars seem to spend mere hours in prison sometimes when they’ve been given jail time (e.g. Lindsay Lohan).

Now we wait to see if official charges will be filed against him. But Russell isn’t standing idly by — TMZ says he’s hired a high-powered New Orleans lawyer to defend him if need be.

We’re on Team Russell here because — let’s be honest— a felony for tossing a paparazzo’s phone is a bit much.
