Authority says Silver Line is nearing completion

McLEAN, Va. (AP) — The authority overseeing the Silver Line Metrorail extension through Tysons Corner to Reston says work on the $3 billion project is belatedly nearing completion.

Officials still do not have a projected opening date, but some public officials are hopeful the line will open by the end of summer.
