A man shot and wounded in a botched home invasion-robbery that left another suspect dead has been charged according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said 32-year-old Scott A. Walker, of West Virginia, is charged with attempted robbery while armed and burglary in the Feb. 10 home invasion in Sterling. Authorities allege that Walker, Anthony D. Miles and Samuel T. Eaton broke into a home on the 1200 block of East Kennedy Drive.
Someone inside the home fatally shot Miles and wounded Walker. Authorities waited to charge Walker until he recovered from his injuries.
Eaton has also been charged in the case. Two women, 27-year-old Rebecca Hook and 24-year-old Whitney Lasik, have been charged with accessory after the fact for allegedly driving the injured man to the hospital and fleeing with Eaton.
