WATCH: Celtics legends Garnett and Pierce end 10-year beef with Ray Allen

Anything is possible!”

Those words spoken by NBA Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett after he and his teammates defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2008 NBA Finals came to life Sunday when three former teammates reunited for the first time in over a decade.

Garnett and Paul Pierce embraced their former teammate Ray Allen, ending a 10-year feud as the Boston Celtics retired Garnett’s number, five.

“It’s good to see Ray Allen here. Real s***,” Garnett said in his address to fans and former teammates. “It’s good to see you here, baby.”

Garnett, Pierce, and Allen united in Boston at the start of the 2008 season and led the team on a historic run that ended with the Celtics capturing their 17th title.

However, the group seemed to suffer an irreparable split when Allen left the Celtics in 2012 to join LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh on the Miami Heat.

Garnett did not shake Allen’s hand when the pair first played against each other in Miami, and the “Big Ticket” appeared to snub Allen at the NBA’s 75 greatest players of all time ceremony last month.

That wound appears to have been mended Sunday.

“When I left, I was so excited for my journey that I was on, but I’ve always loved these guys,” Allen said.

“And the thing I hold close to my heart is not just 2008 but just that whole mission, 2009 and 2010. In this building, we played some amazing games. We had an amazing time on the planes,” he added. “Life was great for those five years. That’s what I focused on was the last 10 years is everything we did together — that to me is the most important.”
