WikiLeaks exposes Obama’s email address

An email address for President Obama appears to have been exposed in the latest batch of messages published by WikiLeaks.

The group posted seven emails sent by “[email protected]” to Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, between Oct. 6-Nov. 4, 2008. The messages include little information. The most notable is a list of potential Cabinet members grouped according to race and gender. Several more pertain to a meeting of the Group of 20 scheduled for mid-November.

It is not clear how many emails from the president remain to be published. WikiLeaks had published 23,423 emails from a personal Gmail account held by Podesta as of Thursday evening. It is anticipated that as many as 50,000 of Podesta’s messages could be published before the Nov. 8 election.
