White House adviser Stephen Miller said he believes President Trump will have a second term in office, thanks to a group of alternative electors set to cast their votes on Monday.
Miller contested Dec. 14 as the deadline for the election, and he said he believes the campaign will have until Jan. 20 to wrap up its legal efforts to fight President-elect Joe Biden’s victory.
“We have more than enough time to right the wrong of this fraudulent election result and certify Donald Trump as the winner of the election,” Miller said Monday on Fox and Friends. “As we speak today, an alternate slate of electors in the contested states is going to vote, and we’re going to send those results up to Congress.”

Trump has yet to concede to Biden despite the Democrat being declared the winner over a month ago. He is expected to be certified the winner on Monday after state electors cast their votes.
The electors will meet in their respective state capitols across the country, with the earliest states starting at 10 a.m. and most states starting before 2 p.m.
Certified state vote tallies are set to give Biden 306 votes and Trump 232.
A joint session of Congress will vote on certification of the results on Jan. 6, the last step before Inauguration Day on Jan. 20.
The Trump campaign has disputed the election results in several states in which it claims voter fraud took place. The campaign has suffered a series of legal losses in the fight, but it still hopes to overturn the results as it draws out the process.
