A British member of Parliament wants President Trump’s invitation to visit the United Kingdom canceled after Trump retweeted several videos that purport to show Muslim men murdering a boy and destroying Christian property.
“Donald Trump is promoting the propaganda of a racist far right group. His invite to visit the UK in 2018 should be immediately withdrawn,” Labour politician Chuka Umunna tweeted Wednesday.
Umunna also told Sky News, “I don’t think the president of the United States, a president that has not only promoted bigotry, misogyny and racism in his own country, I don’t think he is welcome here.” He accused the president of “normalizing hatred.”

President Trump retweeted three separate videos posted by the leader of the far-right group Britain First that purport to show a Muslim man pushing a boy off a roof, a Muslim man destroying a statue of the Virgin Mary, and an immigrant hitting a Dutch boy on crutches.
Commentary: Trump retweeting unverified anti-Muslim videos are insulting, disgraceful, and dangerous
Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of Britain First, was convicted last year of causing religiously aggravated harassment against a woman wearing a hijab.
Trump made waves during his presidential campaign after calling for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S. following the San Bernardino, Calif., shooting. Versions of the ban have since hit roadblocks in the court system.
