Coconut and custard have long been a favorite combination for Willi Cotton of Baltimore, especially during the warm-weather months.
“I’m a big fan of creamy, custardy desserts. And during the summer I don’t like a lot of heavy desserts. Adding coconut gives me a light, delicate flavor that’s not so intense as chocolate and is a change from all the fruity desserts I also like during the summer,” she said.
