Hillary Clinton tells NYC kids to dream big

NEW YORK (AP) — Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton got a whole lot of love from the Bronx after telling children to dream big.

The potential 2016 contender and several city officials were mobbed by hugging kids Friday at a Bronx Children’s Museum event at Lehman College.

The show of affection came after Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who also spoke at the Dream Big event, instructed more than 100 kids in attendance to fan out and hug audience members.

During brief remarks, Clinton told the kids to dream big and believe in themselves. She said she’s been thinking about children a lot lately as she prepares to become a grandmother.

The Big Dream summer arts enrichment aims “to inspire children to dream, work hard, follow their passions.”
