When Paul Manafort arrived at court in New York on Thursday, his appearance was dramatically different than the last time he was photographed in public.
The 70-year-old’s hair had turned gray after months of not using hair dye, and he walked with a limp into the Manhattan courtroom. His mugshot and sketches from his previous court appearances indicated a graying Manafort, but Thursday was the first time he had been on camera in months.

Manafort, President Trump’s former campaign chairman, has pleaded not guilty to state fraud charges that include mortgage fraud and falsifying business records.
He is already serving seven-and-a-half years in prison for federal tax fraud, bank fraud, and foreign lobbying violations.
Manafort has been held behind bars since last June, when a judge determined he had violated his bail conditions by trying to tamper with witnesses. He later appeared in court in a wheelchair. His legal team explained at the time that Manafort was suffering from gout and depression.
