Scoop: Evan denies Manson split rumors

Evan Rachel Wood is denouncing rumors about why she and Marilyn Manson broke up.

The actress denies a tabloid report that the split was sparked when the pallid rocker kicked her brother out of her guest house. (“Evan owned the house and didn’t want her unemployed sibling living on the street,” a source reportedly told Star. “It was the tipping point. Evan was fed up with how controlling and emotionally abusive Marilyn was.”)

“Manson and I both decided to take some time apart so we could concentrate on work,” the 21-year-old tells People in a statement.

“Manson owns the house he lives in. My brother has never stayed there, and the person that said such horrible things about Manson being ‘controlling’ and ‘emotionally abusive’ is certainly no source ‘close’ to me,” Evan insists of her 39-year-old beau.

OK, can someone explain why she calls her boyfriend by his last name? No matter how it went down, this is one creepy celebrity couple we’re not sorry to see split.

Kendra: Playbride

It’s official: Someone is making an honest woman of Kendra Wilkinson. The former “Girls Next Door” gal confirmed reports that she’s engaged to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett.

Oddly enough, the news was announced in a statement by Hugh Hefner. Because, you know, who doesn’t want their octogenarian ex to share in all of life’s most special moments?

“I have given her my blessing and will be giving her away at a very special wedding ceremony at the Playboy Mansion this coming June,” Hef says. That’s, um, normal.

Wonder how Hank’s going to feel meeting his new bride’s aged ex-boyfriend and the women she shared him with? And you thought meeting your spouse’s parents was stressful.

Brad: Me time

As usual, media are relentless in their quest to break up Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The New York Post reports that Brad — gasp! — recently flew solo to Chicago and NYC because, you know, it’s so unhealthy for couples to spend time separately.

Uh, maybe it’s just not as easy to travel when you have six kids, including two newborns.
