CNN host Chris Cuomo complained to incoming White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci on Thursday that it’s “not nice” for him to tease reporters about their alleged bias against President Trump.
Scaramucci told Cuomo that President Trump would get re-elected, and when that happens, he told ABC’s Jake Tapper that he was going to “send him a box of Kleenex.”
“I don’t know why you said that,” Cuomo said. “Jake Tapper is one of the most straight, down the middle guys. It’s insulting when you say that.”
“I’m teasing him,” Scaramucci said.
“But that’s not a nice thing to tease a journalist about,” Cuomo said. “It’s like teasing us about being Italian. It’s not nice, it’s offensive.”

“When you say to a journalist, ‘I’ll bring you Kleenex ’cause you’ll be upset if the president gets re-elected,’ you’re suggesting that they’re biased,” Cuomo said. “It’s not nice.”
Scaramucci said Cuomo was being too thin-skinned.
“You hit me three times hard, I say something teasing, you guys get upset,” Scaramucci said. “Relax.”
