THE DAILY OUTRAGE: Tea time

WHO: U.S. Agency for International Development & the National Science Foundation

WHAT: These two taxpayer-funded agencies are underwriting initiatives at Colorado State University’s Center for Fair and Alternative Trade that “challenge historical global inequalities” and “gender dynamics” for Ecuadorean flower growers and South African tea farmers.

WHY IT’S AN OUTRAGE: There’s nothing “fair” about forcing U.S. taxpayers to pay for such ideologically-motivated studies, especially since the U.S. has provided more economic aid to other countries than any nation on Earth.

WHERE TO VENT: Call USAID at (202) 712-4810, and NSF at (703) 292-5111.
