Rep. Ralph Hall, a 90-year-old Republican from Texas, told Secretary Kathleen Sebelius that he thought he saw her riding a tricycle in Meade, Kansas when he was in the 3rd grade:
The congressman asked, “Were you born in Meade, Kansas?”
“I was not,” responded Sebelius, a former governor of Kansas. “I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. I married a Kansan — and went to Kansas.”
“I was in 3rd grade there and I thought I saw you on a tricycle there one day.”
“Well, it was an illusion,” Sebelius said laughing.
