Virginia State Police on Wednesday received approval from a grand jury to investigate a member of Hillary Clinton’s campaign team in that state, according to a report in the Richmond Times-Dispatch. The police investigation is in addition to a Federal Bureau of Investigation probe that is already underway.

The investigation of Richmond Mayor Dwight Jones is related to allegations that the city’s director of public works oversaw a construction project for Jones’ church on city time.
