President Trump tweeted a “thanks you” message to everyone who participated in pro-Trump rallies across the country on Saturday.
“Thanks you for all of the Trump Rallies today. Amazing support. We will all MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump tweeted Saturday evening. The president was back at the White House at the time of the tweet, after spending several hours at his golf club in Virginia.

Rallies took place in a number of states, including Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In multiple cases, they were confronted by anti-Trump demonstrations. At one rally in Huntington Beach, Calif., several people were arrested after a brawl broke out between pro- and anti-Trump demonstrators.

Another rally took place in front of the White House on Saturday. This one was dedicated to demanding an investigation into the “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory.
